Objective:

The Intake and Assessment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing both clinical and administrative functions of licensed Intake and Assessment Clinicians. This role encompasses a variety of essential duties aimed at ensuring high-quality care and efficient operations.

  1. Supervision of Clinical Staff
  • Conduct and document individual and group clinical supervision sessions.
  • Lead weekly clinical discussions to enhance team performance.
  • Provide coaching and training for therapists, including performance evaluations and case conceptualization.
  • Manage clinician schedules, service capacity, and referrals.
  1. Client Care Responsibilities
  • Conduct 2-4 psychotherapy sessions or Intake Assessments weekly.
  • Offer emergency support for Intake Clinicians as needed.
  1. Administrative Duties
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities.
  • Oversee onboarding and training of new Intake and Assessment Clinicians.
  • Review and approve clinical notes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system within 72 hours of submission.
  • Facilitate training for Intake and Assessment Clinicians.
  1. Leadership and Accountability
  • Uphold the organization's mission and values while guiding team members toward achieving objectives.
  • Enforce quality standards and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
  • Address and resolve conflicts and complaints from both employees and clients.
  • Analyze operational processes to develop more effective strategies.
  • Generate reports and present findings to upper management as required.
  • Create a positive and motivating work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the team regarding performance metrics.
  • Identify training needs and provide appropriate coaching.
  • Organize team-building activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the success of the team as measured by Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Utilize KPI data for weekly reporting.
  • Facilitate individual and group supervision sessions.
  • Ensure timely communication with staff.
  • Participate in and lead weekly meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and Joint Commission Standards for required trainings.
  • Communicate policy and procedure updates to clinicians and ensure adherence.
  • Conduct monthly audits of clinical documentation for accuracy.
  • Perform timely evaluations for supervised staff.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new clinicians.
  • Oversee time-off requests and related administrative tasks.
  • Ensure adequate coverage for staff as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as required to meet organizational needs.

Position Type: Full-time

Education Requirements: Master's Degree and Full Licensure in the relevant state, with supervisory credentials obtained within one year of hire.

Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role within a Mental Health Treatment Facility or equivalent training.
