Our Team:
Eversource is seeking an energetic and inspiring servant leader to act as a change agent helping drive our Enterprise Agile Transformation.
The Senior Agile Coach will launch new release trains and provide the education, mentoring and support to help those teams be successful.
This person must be an expert in Agile best practices and must be passionate about sharing that expertise across all levels of an organization.
In addition to supporting Agile teams and projects, this leadership position will take ownership in defining and strengthening Eversource Agile standards, as well as helping to assess and drive improvement in the Agile maturity across the enterprise.
Essential Functions:
Act as a servant leader and change agent to instill an Agile mindset across the organization
Provide coaching and mentoring to help upskill team members and develop high performing teams
Guide individuals, teams, and leaders to improve the team and organizational culture
Deliver training to introduce or build upon Agile skills and practices
As needed, facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., retrospectives and inspect & adapt events) and practices (e.g. backlog refinement and prioritization)
Lead a Community of Practice (CoP) for one of the Agile delivery roles
Foster a "One Team" attitude in the organization including vendor partners
Understand and support implementation of KPI's to measure value delivery, quality and productivity
Continuously assess the Agile maturity of teams and individuals at all levels of leadership, educating and mentoring to address gaps.
Facilitate open communication among teams and stakeholders; promote positive team dynamics to ensure members collaborate and work effectively within and across teams.
Participate in defining and refining the Agile Transformation strategy and roadmap.
Assist in driving enterprise-level change such as adoption of a product-centric organization model.
Provide leadership and coaching within the Agile Center of Excellence, helping to upskill other Agile Coaches within the organization
Perform other duties as assigned.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
Product-based agile methodologies.
Establishing and driving coaching Community of Practice.
Scaled Agile Framework
Scrum and Kanban Frameworks
Leading and driving organizational change
Jira knowledge mandatory
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Agile Coach or equivalent experience working in an Agile environment in Agile delivery roles such as Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, and Product Owner
Licenses & Certifications:
Agile certification strongly desired, for example Scaled Agile Framework Program Consultant (SPC)
Working Conditions:
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
Work is performed primarily in an office environment which requires standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, writing and typing.
Work involves using a computer and telephone as well as personal communication.
Mental Aspects :
Work includes researching, analyzing, writing and public speaking.
This role works in an environment that often requires the performance of multiple simultaneous activities, where multiple competing deadlines need to be met and work is performed under pressure while involving significant business commitments and results.

Compensation and Benefits
Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position starts at $120,280.00 to $133,640.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of our benefits.
