About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) team. As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the technology strategy and direction for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior Technology and Business leaders to develop architecture priorities and direction to enable business imperatives
  • Apply your extensive Solutions Architecture experience to support multiple initiatives across the enterprise and promote reusability and optimization
  • Provide consulting expertise with our division Architects and champion the design and implementation of solutions in ServiceNow, Power Platform, and other Low/No Code platforms
  • Help application teams and other critical teams within the enterprise to ensure the completed application and platform architectures align with the Travelers cybersecurity, resilience, scalability, and availability standards
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for following and sharing architecture and design best practices and drive continuous technology transformations toward the zero-touch and zero-trust models to minimize technical debt
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow architecture and ServiceNow implementations
  • Hands-on experience with low/no code platforms such as ServiceNow and Power Platform
  • Experience leading solutions design, development, and implementing applications with ServiceNow
  • Bachelor's in technology-related field or equivalent with 5+ years of technology Architecture experience
  • Provided mentorship to architects
  • Organizational and transformational experience in an agile operating model
  • Establishes strategic technology direction and architecture vision for an organization
  • Strong proven Software Engineering experience
  • Developed technology target state, roadmaps that aligned to Short- and Long-term business goals
  • Proven track record of influencing senior leadership
  • Insurance technology experience
  • Strong grasp of value creation and business capability models
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • Must be passionate about technology transformations
  • Has hands-on experience in the last 3 years
  • Executed technology modernization initiatives including migration to cloud native and API Strategy
  • Current deep experience with AWS, APIs, accelerators, DevSecOps
  • Cloud Architecture Certification (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or strong architecture experience on Cloud
  • Good understanding of security
  • Experienced with large-scale technology platforms
