Job Purpose


As a Regional Sales Manager for Fernox, you will be responsible for the development and expansion of the Fernox business in Midwest territory.

You will create awareness of the need for water treatment in the domestic, commercial and renewable heating markets. You will assist in opening markets outside current areas of operation by utilizing appropriate strategies targeting wholesale distribution.

You will develop pull through wholesale business by working with installing contractors to promote use of Fernox Water Treatment products.

Job Responsibilities

Directly and through the established

Independent Representative Agencies:
Develop culture of water treatment use in key domestic and commercial heating markets of the territory by working to position Fernox as the preferred choice for chemicals including glycols and filters in the territory
Establish and grow relationships with the major wholesalers, installing contractors, and key OEMs
Build relationships with key commercial contacts including design build contractors, building management firms, and specifying engineers
Complete call plans, monthly reports and other administrative documentation in a timely and accurate manner. Update Atlas (Salesforce) CRM database on a timely basis including new customer forecast data
Support Fernox sales efforts in alternate HVAC channels such as renewables; especially geothermal, solar and heat pumps
Develop use of Fernox chemicals and filters in new applications such as chillers
In association with the Sales Director and the Product Management team, consider differentiated strategies for new markets ensuring that the associated support requirements are aligned to the potential sales/margin returns
Participate in regional and national trade shows and assist when required the other members of the Fernox America's sales team in their territories
Provide feedback on customer business development, competitor activity and product\service performance to assist sales and marketing plans

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or HVAC technical certification preferred
3-5 years experience required
Strong prospecting, closing and sales generation track record in a regional territory
Salesforce experience
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and responsive to change with strong networking skills
Comprehensive understanding of the North American HVAC and Water Treatment Markets an advantage
Articulate and capable of making professional presentations both to customers and colleagues
Must be able to manage time and resources effectively with strong planning and organizational skills
