Position Overview:

  • Responsible for providing financial counseling, collecting co-pays and deductibles and/or offering financial assistance education to patients and their families.
  • Handles registration tasks, scheduling appointments, and entering necessary information into the system while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Requires strong customer focus, patience, composure, and interpersonal skills to maintain excellent customer service standards at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and enter financial and demographic data into the system
  • Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary consents
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide financial assessment and evaluate each patient's situation
  • Work efficiently while ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy rights

Requirements:

  • High School completion / GED required
  • Associate's Degree in healthcare or related business field preferred
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in medical terminology preferred
