Position Overview: The Patient Access Coordinators play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the financial success of all patient services. Under the general guidance of the Patient Access Manager, this role encompasses essential responsibilities, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Appointment scheduling
  • Patient registration
  • Transcribing medical orders
  • Insurance verification
  • Telephone support
  • Data entry
  • Management of protected health information (PHI)
  • Patient referrals
  • Collection of payments

All tasks are performed while maintaining strong patient relations and ensuring customer satisfaction, which are vital for the financial health of Dayton Children's Hospital.

Educational Requirements: GED or High School Diploma (Required)
