Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer-service coverage and assume responsibility for successful financial outcomes of all patient services.
  • Perform imperative duties, including appointment scheduling, registration, transcribing orders, insurance verification, telephone coverage, data entry, filing protected health information (PHI), patient referrals, and payment collection.
  • Maintain patient relations, customer satisfaction, and Dayton Children's Hospital financial solvency.

Department Specific:

This role is part of our Primary Care department and requires a strong understanding of patient access processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • GED or High School diploma required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
