MISSION
Manage, control, and supervise the operation of assigned wind farms (or even solar plants in the future).

Ensure that the main contractors comply with the HSE requirements, the maintenance plans and the maintenance guidelines / procedures defined by the O&M central Departments, within the scope of maximizing the power production, preserving the lifecycle and minimizing costs with a high level of quality on the assigned assets.

When required, support the rest of O&M local team in the management of other plants under the responsibility of the Head of O&M and collaborate with the Asset Manager for the achievement of strategic objectives set for the assigned plants.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

HEALTH SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT (HSE) POLICIES COMPLIANCE:

  • Follow, implement and ensure compliance of the EDPR policies, directives and procedures
  • Perform HSE Inspections and Preventive observations and support the inspections and audits performed by other departments / consultants / or contractors

FIELD WORK MANAGEMENT (routine, planning, execution and reporting):

  • Contractor's management and technical support aiming to optimize the defined availability targets and performance of the plants. Ensure proper maintenance and optimal conditions of the plants, timely resolution of malfunctions or any underperformance arisen. Identify the service providers that can adequately fix any occurred problems. Coordinate different suppliers involved and organize the activities covered by the maintenance contracts in place.
  • Responsible for the annual maintenance planning, its authorizing and its proper implementation. Hold the weekly planning and weekly/monthly meetings and ensure the contractor's timely reporting as per the EDPR O&M Model. Coordinate with Central Asset Operations and Dispatch Center and update maintenance programs and planned
unplanned unavailabilities

  • Use the EDPR tools (i.e. SAP PM, Dynamics, OPMS) for everyday activities like purchasing, reporting, classification of outages and scheduling
  • Operate MV/HV Substations locally and coordinate with EDPR dispatch center for local and remote operations (maneuvers). Ensure the communication and coordination with the DSO/TSO
  • Responsible for the first contacts at the site with internal and external stakeholders (EDPR management, contractors, landowners, local authorities)
  • Manage major corrective activities and local warehouse at site level

SURVEILLANCE AND OVERVIEW:

  • Knowing the EDPR priorities and contractual targets, collaborate with the head of O&M and Asset Management to provide feedback on the plants' performance
  • Follow bonuses and penalties for contractors according to the signed agreements
  • Perform Quality Inspections
  • Analyze information through the Second level SCADA adopted by EDPR and all the management tools made available by the company (i.e. SAP PM, Dynamics, Cockpit etc.), in order to monitor the plants' and the service providers' performance
  • Define the expected OPEX budget for the O&M activities. Perform the continuous follow up of the approved budget, track and report to the Asset Manager any unplanned costs.
  • Contribute in fostering Operational Excellence by promoting the continuous improvement process in all the phases (analysis, definition, implementation, monitoring).
Adopt the behavior and the mindset suitable to pursue continuous improvement of the processes, availability targets.

REQUIRED PROFILE

REQUIRED ACADEMIC SKILLS:
Technical Bachelor in electrical or mechanical engineering

Languages:
Greek

and English / Spanish

would be a plus

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Minimum experience of 3 years as a technician in wind farms
Previous role as a team leader would be a plus
Experience in commissioning of wind farms and substations would be a plus

SKILLS/COMPETENCES:
