About the Role:

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Senior Operations Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the engineering function for our entire site, including project planning, execution, and maintenance for both Pharma OSD & Injectable block.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering function for the entire site, including project planning, execution, and maintenance for both Pharma OSD & Injectable block.
  • Procure and coordinate plant process equipment for OSD/injectable facility.
  • Coordinate with consultants and commercial teams for equipment purchase and related planning.
  • Handle and lead all engineering projects independently.
  • Prepare monthly engineering reports and monitor energy resources to reduce energy costs.
  • Mentor and motivate the site team for energy conservation and safety-related concerns.
  • Ensure trouble-free operation of utility and engineering facilities.
  • Ensure compliance to engineering regulations in the manufacturing facility.
  • Monitor budget OPEX & CAPEX for timely completion and within the agreed budget.
  • Engage in technical dealings with government agencies for legal requirement compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical, or related field.
  • Added advantage: MBA.
  • Ability to lead the engineering function for the entire site.

Working Relationships:

  • Internal Interactions: All production block heads, supply chain team, and other cross-functional departments.
  • External Interactions: Vendors.

Geographical Scope:

This position is based out of Dewas SGO and shall look after engineering projects for Dewas Site.

Financial Accountability:

Finance Head.
