Work Position: DRC Research Regulatory Assistant

Location: Main Campus (Gainesville, FL)

  • Responsible for various administrative tasks within the IACUC office, such as handling initial inquiries via phone/email, organizing Zoom meetings, and managing data efficiently.
  • Offering technical support to Principal Investigators (PI's) on their IACUC protocols utilizing goIACUC system. Engaging with stakeholders in the animal program including faculty, veterinarians, and staff.
  • Additional assigned responsibilities as needed.

Expected Compensation: Commensurate with candidate's experience and expertise.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent along with three years of pertinent experience. Potential substitution of appropriate college courses or vocational/technical training for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with three years of relevant experience.

Detail-oriented with exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with individuals from diverse scientific backgrounds.

Background in customer service.

Proficient in computer operations.
