Regulatory Compliance Analyst

We are actively looking for a Compliance Specialist who will play a vital role in ensuring adherence to Low-Income Housing HUD/Tax Credit regulations by managing various programs, policies, and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with on-site and corporate personnel to guarantee that all housing program regulations are fulfilled.
- Travel may be required based on business needs.
- Conduct audits and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Provide administrative assistance, including prompt data entry into compliance reporting systems, filing, and ongoing file management.
- Process commissions related to both new move-ins and re-certifications.
- Engage directly with Local Housing Authority and State Agency representatives regarding compliance matters, inspections, and successful completion of annual audits.
- Assist in the execution of Mass Recertifications, Re-syndications, Lease-ups, and Acquisitions.
- Review and verify that all property management software data is accurately entered.
- Ensure compliance with the required distribution of 60/50% Tax Credit, Bond, and RDA units for each property.
- Follow up to obtain all Utility Allowances and income/rent limits from local authorities.
Qualifications:
- Experience in compliance, specifically with processing Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC or Section 42) certification paperwork.
- Demonstrated experience with other affordable housing programs such as HUD, Section 8, 202, and/or 811.
- In-depth knowledge of processing LIHTC certification paperwork.
- Self-driven with the capability to work independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees, properties, supervisors, and other stakeholders.

Compensation:
Full-Time position with a pay range of $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.
