Bridgepoint is in search of Managing Director candidates to join our dynamic middle market investment banking firm. QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate is an accomplished Managing Director with a successful track record in middle market M&A and/or leveraged finance deal origination. Key qualifications include extensive client interaction, a solid professional reputation, ability to build strong client relationships, professionalism, network credibility, a minimum of 10 years in investment banking, strong management skills, interest in entrepreneurial cultures, a commitment to long-term growth, value-driven decision-making, and at least a Bachelor's Degree.
OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Seek new business opportunities and promote a range of investment banking services to potential clients.
- Generate and oversee new deal flow aligned with the firm's strategy.
- Utilize existing networks to create new prospects.
- Establish and enhance client networks, manage pipelines, and contribute to sales and marketing strategies.
- Lead diverse transactions from initial pitch to closure across all industries and stages.
- Demonstrate exceptional deal execution, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Provide clear financial information to assist executives in corporate finance activities.
- Ensure attention to detail in client deliverables.
- Manage client relationships and actively engage in transactional milestones.
- Offer leadership, mentorship, and professional development to junior staff.
- Participate in industry events, media interviews, and marketing initiatives to elevate the firm's visibility.
- Serve as a strategic advisor enabling clients to achieve their long-term objectives.
- Uphold team player values and positive company culture.
- Engage in both corporate finance and M&A transactions.
