Key Responsibilities- Project Budgeting and Scheduling: Monitor and manage budgets and schedules for multiple capital investment projects and programs, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Project Delivery and Efficiency: Drive efficiency into project delivery through the monitoring of delivery metrics and pursuit of more effective delivery and procurement approaches.
- Project Execution: Deliver assigned capital projects in accordance with policies and procedures set forth in the Capital Investment Management (CIM) system, meeting asset needs and ensuring compliance with regulatory criteria, specifications, and standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Ensure asset owner satisfaction by interacting with operations personnel to ensure project delivery meets operational needs and coordinating with operations personnel on operational impacts related to project delivery.
- Education and Experience: Minimum 4 years' experience in project delivery of major water resources projects, with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced management or technical degree preferred.
- Skills and Knowledge: Broad knowledge of engineering, project management, and construction management practices related to planning, design, construction, and operations for water resource facilities, engineering, and utility economics, and contract administration and construction technology. Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, directing, monitoring, and reporting of project activities.
- Certifications and Licenses: Professional Engineer License (PE) and/or Construction Management certifications strongly preferred.
