The WWSO, part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), focuses on solving customer challenges and developing go-to-market strategies to transform AWS concepts into successful businesses.
As a member of WWSO, you will contribute across the entire lifecycle of AWS customer initiatives, from ideation to implementation, supporting startups in leveraging AWS technologies efficiently and effectively.
The WWSO Startup team specializes in assisting startups in adopting cutting-edge technologies to scale on AWS rapidly and affordably.
As a Technical Business Developer, you will engage with startups to facilitate the adoption of AWS technologies, particularly Amazon Q, among others. Your responsibilities include:
- Engaging with key stakeholders to drive adoption, build pipelines, and establish strategic partnerships.
- Providing technical leadership to become a trusted advisor within customer accounts.
- Developing programs leveraging AWS teams and partner channels.
- Collaborating with product and technical teams to create innovative solutions for customer challenges.
- Working closely with Marketing to drive awareness through digital campaigns.
- Owning the Startup GTM strategy for Amazon Q in the eastern US.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience.
- 5+ years of technology domain experience in LLM, Machine Learning, AI, and GenAI.
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Startup background with experience in a Product, BD, or Sales role.
- Proven track record in building relationships with Startup executives and closing deals.
- Expertise in open-source software and software development tools.
- Strong communication skills and industry recognition in primary disciplines.
- Cloud expertise with relevant certifications.
- Advanced degree such as an MBA or MS in CS or Engineering preferred.
