KBR is looking for a Supervisor, Material Management to help support large capital projects.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Administers Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities which include inventory control, shipping, receiving and issuance of materials.
  • Records and prepares status reports of requested and received items. Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems, or direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support team.
  • Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks.
  • Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices.
  • Directs resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy.

Job Qualifications:

  • Skills required for this job are typically acquired by completion of an Associate degree and 10 years of experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Candidate must have excellent MS Excel skills.
  • Experience with building Power BI reports a plus.
  • Comprehension of relational databases a plus.
  • EPC Capital Project Field experience required. Experience working as a project integrator or on Mega Capital projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of Piping Specifications / Material Classes required.
  • Knowledge of producing Material Takeoffs (MTO's) from Engineering Deliverables (ISO's & P&ID's) preferred.
  • Individual must be a self-starter and recognize problems by leveraging EPC project field experience.
  • Experience with international clients a plus.
  • Knowledge of industry standard MRP software required. Working Knowledge KBR's Integrated Project Management System (IPMS) is preferred. Especially in the following modules:
    • Work Planning module.
    • MRR/Receipt Module
    • OS&D Module
    • MTO/BOM Module
    • Expediting Module
    • Material Catalog
    • Material Summary / Job Balance
