EHS Assistant Manager

Kyle, Tx

$40.50 hrly

What's the Job?

Is responsible for monitoring working conditions to ensure all activity is compliant with local, state, and federal safety regulations

Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal Safety Regulations including those set by OSHA and EPA.

Writing, implementing, and managing EHS Programs, policies, and procedures.

  • Complete and maintain OSHA 300 log. In-depth knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards
Conducts safety audits to identify workplace hazards via periodic safety and health walk-through inspections of all workplace facilities

What's Needed?

Bachelor's Degree in Health/Safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field; or a combination of related experience and education

Experience with a manufacturing or processing company strongly preferred

Ability to read and interpret dense legal and federal OSHA documents
