Position Overview

The Health Safety Environment Coordinator at ABC Technologies plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our workforce while maintaining compliance with environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee EHS initiatives within the manufacturing sector, focusing on continuous improvement and adherence to industry standards.
  • Implement and manage safety protocols in accordance with federal and state Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate training programs to enhance employee awareness and understanding of safety practices and environmental responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with corporate EHS teams to ensure timely communication and reporting of safety metrics and incidents.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in EHS regulations and best practices to enhance organizational compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in an EHS leadership position, preferably within the manufacturing, automotive, or plastics sectors.
  • A degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Science.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support various facilities.
