Overview: Seeking a skilled Network Administrator II to bolster network VPNs, tunnels, and local services stability and integrity within our Houston Staging Lab team.


  • Network Troubleshooting: Manage and resolve network infrastructure issues actively.
  • Switching: Optimize company switches for seamless network performance.
  • Routing: Enhance data exchange and communication with routing protocols and procedures.
  • SVI (Switched Virtual Interface): Configure and handle SVIs to route traffic effectively.
  • Firewall Management: Implement and maintain firewall configurations for secure communications. Oversee site-to-site IPSec tunnels to ensure smooth data flow between sites.

Requirements: BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.


  • Proven network administration experience in troubleshooting, switching, routing, SVIs, and firewall management.
  • Strong grasp of network infrastructure and hardware.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and thinking out solutions.
  • Knowledge of application transport and network protocols.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Cisco Certifications: Highly preferred CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant certifications.
  • Additional networking industry certifications are advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Windows Server management.
  • Proficient in Hyper-V virtual environment management.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting.
  • Knowledge of Ansible (RedHat Tool) is a bonus but not mandatory.
