The Senior Quality Engineer I collaborates with Quality, Manufacturing, and MS&T Engineering teams to assist throughout the product life cycle. This role involves leading continuous improvement initiatives, resolving quality issues, handling Non-conformances/CAPAs, managing process controls, and conducting validations.
MUST HAVES:
- Previous involvement in Med Devise and Pharma sectors, clearly outlined on the resume
- Validation Expertise
- Technical Degree or equivalent experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Offering quality support to manufacturing operations, including addressing issues, supporting continuous improvement projects, and conducting regular walk-throughs
- Investigating and providing input on non-conformance events and CAPAs, utilizing problem-solving tools for data analysis and improvement identification
- Leading projects to prevent non-conformance events and enhance the Quality Management System
- Mentoring QE 1s and other departments on quality-related matters
- Approving various quality documents such as SOP's, technical reports, validation documentation, and FMEAs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2+ Years in Pharmaceutical / Medical Device Industry
- Project management exposure
- ASQ CQE certification (or equivalent) is a plus
- Proficiency in statistical principles
- Experience with SAP/BI
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
