Join Our Team as Regional Service Manager

Position Summary:

The Regional Service Manager (RSM) collaborates with the Regional Culinary Assistant (RCA) to provide essential support to restaurants (and particularly the GM's) as the expert in service, training standards, and hospitality. Reporting to the Director of Service, the RSM plays a key role in Training, Implementation, Problem Solving/Operations, and Standards.

Essential Job Functions

  • Crew Training
    • Owns all Front of House (FOH) training programs and service initiatives at the restaurant-level, from design to delivery.
    • Ensures accuracy and effectiveness of FOH crew training materials, keeping them up to date and standard.
    • Builds relationships with trainers in each location and workgroup.
    • Actively certifies and recertifies all FOH trainers, ensuring training standards are met.
    • Participates in training sessions and provides feedback to enhance the program.
  • Implementation:
    • Supports new menu and service standards rollouts.
    • Leads the 'Train the Trainer' program to improve training standards.
    • Participates in the development of classroom trainers.
  • Problem Solve/Operations:
    • Assists in specific training areas when requested by GM.
    • Participates in location openings and training activities.
    • Shares best practices with GMs in the region for continuous improvement.
  • Standards/ Restaurant Visits
    • Supports FOH managers in service-related issues.
    • Ensures consistent application of training and operational standards in restaurants.
    • Educates managers and crew during operational shifts.
  • Leadership/Partnership
    • Reports on training, service initiatives, and action plans in regular meetings with Director of Service.

Essential Skills

  • Delivery and implementation of training and service programs.
  • Experience in facilitating onsite restaurant training.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels.
  • Positive influence through leadership.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Sound decision-making and organizational abilities.

· History of successful team training and program rollouts.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint.
  • Valid food handler and alcohol certifications.
  • Frequent travel required within the Region.
  • Ability to travel for business up to 2 weeks at a time.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement for alcohol service.
  • Preferred bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
  • Experience in HR/Training Development or Communications.
  • Preferably experienced as NRO Trainer or certified FOH trainer.

Physical Requirements

Able to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
