Daily Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement personalized strategies to drive sales with designated OEM customer accounts.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the customer base, business segments served, industry trends, and future needs.
  • Utilize Epicor 10 ERP / MRP software for various tasks, including CRM.
  • Create pricing strategies, analyze profit margins, and enhance growth with assigned customers.
  • Prepare quoting strategies and estimates for new projects, involving proposal creation and presentation to designated customers.
  • Ensure effective inter-company communication to maintain high customer satisfaction levels within the organization.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment with internal resources to back growth strategies and exceed customer expectations.
  • Propose new services or products to expand market reach and develop new business with assigned customers.
  • Maintain regular communication and timely follow-ups with customers to grasp evolving business needs and product requirements.
  • Provide consistent updates to the Sales Manager on customer status, CRM updates, new product ideas, and project progress.
  • Align with departmental and company policies and procedures.
  • Travel occasionally to key customers and business partners for account reviews and projects, under 10% of the time.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or relevant field.
  • Completion of sales training coursework is advantageous.
  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience with OEM customers, ideally in the metal fabrication sector.
  • Experience in consultative sales for custom manufacturing services or engineered products.
  • Proficiency in Epicor 10 and other ERP / MRP software, including CRM.
  • Essential Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical, data-driven decision-making skills, prioritizing quality and customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effective negotiation and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Solid Works CAD software is a plus.
