Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, consolidated statements, and various accounting reports for board review. Maintain fixed asset records.
- Compliance & Audits: Review compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Assist with audit preparation and delegation of tasks as needed.
- Quality Control: Assist in reviewing and supporting quality control of accounting functions, including G/L entries, general ledger reconciliation, tax reconciliation, monthly bank reconciliation, month-end close process, and fraud prevention support.
- Team Management: Manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable accounting team, ensuring day-to-day operations, quality control, and review of general accounts payable, employee expense batches, and client billings.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the Admin team, Leadership, and Operations Staff to maintain adherence to and improve efficiency of department policies and procedures and internal controls.
- System Integration: Maintain current processes related to software conversions and integrations.
- Budget & Cash Management: Assist with preparation of the annual office budget and cash management and cash projections. Approve submitted Purchase Orders under $10,000 in accordance with the annual budget.
- Special Projects: Handle special projects as requested by the CFO or Leadership Team.
- Minimum 4-year accounting degree required.
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Advanced computer skills, including high proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Unanet A/E or similar professional services accounting package preferred.
- Ability to work well with strategic management direction and provide strategic insight to tasks.
- Excellent organization, time management, and detail-oriented talents a must.
