Summary

The Curriculum Development Specialist will be in charge of crafting and designing curriculum content, training materials, training modules, and teaching aids by identifying best practices and addressing performance gaps. This role involves developing curriculum to be used by training instructors to train employees within specific departments. The Specialist will work under the guidance of department leaders, completing assignments independently while following established principles and methods in the field.

Essential Functions
  • Manages multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously by prioritizing deadlines and ensuring swift issue resolution.
  • Conducts research and develops instructional materials based on performance results, educational data, and trends.
  • Communicates with instructors and support resources for successful implementation of curriculum projects.
  • Prepares and evaluates instructional materials, writes/edit training manuals, and guides for quality control.
  • Creates and maintains setup documentation, curriculum catalogues, and compliance materials.
  • Recommends updates to Course Catalog and collaborates with stakeholders for course evaluation and improvements.
  • Establishes a quality assurance review process for existing and new training programs.
  • Coordinates with various teams for course maintenance and improvements.

The responsibilities are not exhaustive and managers may assign additional duties. Evaluation criteria will focus on education, experience, skills assessments, interviews, and background checks.
