About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Training Technician to support the overall mission of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of law enforcement professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather information and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop initial and follow-on curricula.
  • Design and develop training materials, schedules, and logistical support for training programs.
  • Conduct training sessions and maintain accurate training records.
  • Regularly review and update existing training to ensure policy, regulatory, and legal changes are incorporated.
  • Publish periodic training advisories and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Three years of demonstrated experience in coordinating and managing training programs.
  • Ability to understand the organization and functions of the customer.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software applications and databases.
  • Proven commitment to providing excellent customer service and a positive, flexible attitude.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional demeanor.
