Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a nationally recognized and award-winning public healthcare system, is currently seeking a Board Certified Infectious Disease physician to join our team on a per diem basis.

Weekend coverage, Friday at 5pm – Monday at 8am Approximately 8-12 weekends per year MD will cover at Cambridge Hospital and Everett Hospital Typically 0-3 new consults per weekend; active follow up patients can often be managed remotely. Ideal candidate will provide coverage for 1 year with the potential to renew the agreement

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as an Infectious Disease specialist. Candidates must have excellent clinical/communication/organizational skills, and possess a strong commitment to serve our underserved, multicultural patient population. Must also be able to collaborate and successfully work in a multidisciplinary team based environment.

At CHA we offer a supportive and collegial environment with a strong infrastructure and practice support, including a fully integrated inpatient/outpatient EMR (Epic), which has been in use for over 10 years.
