Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to optimize patient health
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Consult with specialty services as needed
  • Utilize computerized/electronic medical records to document patient care
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health conditions and treatment options
  • Initiate consultations/referrals to specialty services as indicated
  • Order diagnostic studies, such as laboratory tests and x-rays, to evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Perform health promotion and disease prevention activities
  • Complete medical documentation in accordance with bylaws and regulations
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss and determine the best treatment plan for patients
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English
  • Must have a degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • Must have a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
  • Must have completed residency training in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification
Preferred Experience

Primary Care experience is highly preferred
