Responsible for assisting loan officers with administrative tasks, record keeping, and clerical duties. Acts as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and provides support in a courteous and professional manner.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare various documents for loan officers, including notices, past due correspondence, and financial reports.
  • Aid loan officers in managing secondary market loans and real estate loan paperwork.
  • Handle loan payments and customer inquiries, offer information on banking services, confirm loan balances, and process loan requests.
  • Maintain organized and accurate customer credit files.
  • Coordinate with Post Closing for archiving documents and resolving exceptions.
  • Assist in data entry and document processing for non-posted transactions.
  • Manage loan denials and related communication with borrowers.
  • Support loan officers in preparing closing documents and managing compliance.
  • Responsible for security procedures such as Dual Control.
  • Act as the primary contact for customer interactions, phone calls, and directing inquiries.
  • Facilitate communication between different departments and personnel.
  • Promote banking products and assist customers with transactions.
  • Participate in job-related training as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements

Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma required.
  • Associate degree preferred.
Skills:
  • Proficient in computer operations with a focus on word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Strong understanding of loan processes and banking systems.
  • Ability to work accurately, confidentially, and efficiently with detailed information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for customer interaction and multitasking.
  • Familiarity with internal policies and regulations governing departmental functions.
