Position Overview:

This role is essential in supporting both internal and external clients by managing, evaluating, and making decisions on new loan and lease applications within the Scorecard framework.

The position involves onboarding loans and assessing lease requests to ensure compliance with established policies and eligibility criteria.

Collaboration with internal colleagues and Agri-Access Lending Partners is key to delivering sound, efficient, and timely credit decisions.

This position provides a hybrid work option, allowing for up to 50% remote work, and is available at various Compeer office locations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Process loan and lease applications for scoring, approving or declining requests based on Compeer's scoring model.
  • Determine and input YBS, farm involvement, and industry codes for Salesforce loan setup.
  • Review status codes from the Decision Management Platform along with financial and supporting documentation to make informed approval or decline decisions.
  • Analyze financial documentation for exceptions to policy, conducting necessary due diligence based on credit risk.
  • Assist in monitoring the Scorecard program, generating reports, and correcting any errors.
  • Support required reporting and updates to policies and processes.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in business administration, finance, economics, agribusiness, data analysis, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in lending, credit analysis, finance, or customer service.
  • Familiarity with federal and state laws, regulations, and compliance requirements specific to the financial sector.
  • Understanding of agricultural businesses, crop insurance, and livestock industries.
  • Solid grasp of the lending process, policies, and relevant programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • High integrity and strong teamwork abilities.
  • Valid driver's license.
