Job Title: Scorecard Specialist

Compeer Financial is seeking a collaborative and innovative professional to join our team as a Scorecard Specialist. This role is responsible for administering, processing, and making new loan and lease request decisions within the Scorecard program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process loan and lease requests for scoring and approve or decline using Compeer's scoring model.
  • Determine and enter YBS, farm involvement, and industry codes for Salesforce loan set-up.
  • Review status codes from Decision Management Platform and financial/supporting documentation submitted to approve or decline a request based on the score.
  • Analyze financial and supporting documentation submitted for low-side or high-side overrides, and exceptions to policy.
  • Assist with monitoring of the program and reports and correct errors.
  • Assist with required reporting, updating of policy and process.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in business administration, finance, economics, agribusiness, data analysis or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in lending, credit analysis, finance, customer service.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations and compliance requirements specific to the financial industry and Farm Credit.
  • Knowledge of agricultural businesses and operations, crop insurance and livestock industries and associated production practices.
  • Solid understanding of the lending process, policies and SOPs, and programs used.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business.
