Position Overview:

This role is pivotal in serving both internal and external stakeholders by managing, processing, and making informed decisions on new loan and lease applications within the Scorecard framework.

The position involves onboarding loans and establishing lease requests by assessing eligibility and adherence to established policies.

Collaboration with internal colleagues and Agri-Access Lending Partners is essential to ensure sound, efficient, and timely credit decisions.

This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for up to 50% remote work, and is available across various Compeer office locations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Administers loan and lease applications for scoring, approving or declining requests based on Compeer's scoring model.
  • Identifies and inputs YBS, farm involvement, and industry codes for Salesforce loan setup.
  • Evaluates status codes from the Decision Management Platform alongside financial and supporting documentation to determine approval or denial based on scoring outcomes.
  • Conducts analysis of financial documentation for overrides and policy exceptions, determining the necessary level of scrutiny based on credit risk, while adhering to policies and guidelines.
  • Assists in monitoring the program, generating reports, and rectifying errors.
  • Supports required reporting, policy updates, and process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Skills:
  • Associate's degree in business administration, finance, economics, agribusiness, data analysis, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in lending, credit analysis, finance, or customer service.
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulations pertinent to the financial sector.
  • Understanding of agricultural operations, crop insurance, and livestock production practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the lending process, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Proficient in loan products, services, and credit operations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster interpersonal relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
