The HR Risk and Control organization is responsible for establishing frameworks regarding the identification and management of human capital risk, organizational control, and compliance strategies and programs, including the MCA program

Duration:

1 yearThe Global HR Risk Assessment Officer role will assist on Federal Reserve Board (FRB) and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) consent orders initiatives, help execute the go-forward state and sustainably embed solutions focused on the Manager's Control Assessment (MCA) Program.

This role requires a high degree of focus, ability to execute, attention to detail, and change management skills as this individual will play a critical role in partnering directly with the HR Functions undergoing a high degree of change.


Responsibilities:

Utilize a high-touch approach to partnering with HR stakeholders on the execution of the MCA program under the Consent Order-related deliverablesSupport the MCA Architect Team lead and liaise with Architect delegates and business MCA teams to ensure consistent implementation of the MCA Standard and ProceduresPerform and deliver risk assessment results, including business metrics that provide insight to business control performanceAnalyze results to offer trends and feedback loop for management oversight, relevant deep dives, and input to change management of MCA processesWork with risk officers to drive identification and mitigation of significant operational breaks, root cause identification, recommendations for future prevention; provide governance to ensure remediation and enhancementsCollaborate with Independent ORM, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Legal to identify and mitigate cross-function risksPossess subject matter expertise to focus on a standardized approach across the inventoryWork with the architect delegates to assist business groups in strengthening their control environmentResponsible for ensuring consistency in the application of taxonomy, alignment with regulations and policies, and accuracy of risk description
Qualifications:

6 + years of experience, including relevant expertise in Risk and Controls, Risk Management, Audit, and/or Regulatory transformation experience in design and executionPossess strong experience with utilizing Microsoft Access and Excel formulas, functions, and pivot tables with supporting data analysis.

Possess strong Power Point skills for executive-level presentation creation and documentationFamiliarity with overall Risk Control Assessment programs and understanding of HR Risk policies, procedures, standardsExperience with Risk & Control and the ability to leverage that experience to drive Managers Control Assessment functionality and reporting enhancementsExperience in identifying risks and controls in a process, but more importantly documenting those risks and controls comprehensivelyProject management and project delivery experience with a strong focus on executionExceptional interpersonal communication skills - verbal and writtenAbility to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlinesAbility to plan and organize, work effectively in team settings and independentlyGeneral understanding of relevant banking regulations and supervisory expectations for large and complex financial institutionsDemonstrated ability to negotiate internally with diverse stakeholders, drive accountability and ownership with key business partners, process ownersEffective relationship management skills with the capacity to deepen relationships, build partnerships across HR Businesses and key support areas such as Audit, Compliance, Control, Independent Risk, and Legal to ensure franchise and other key risks and needs are consideredProven ability to question and identify opportunities within current processes and business practices leveraging previous experiences and HR Business knowledgeExceptional interpersonal skills, with evidence of collaboration across extensive organizations, including a proactive and direct communication approach in addressing issues/requestsContinuous improvement mindset - assess actions' impact and adjust as necessary; simplify and standardize wherever possibleComfortable with candid communication - both positive and negative - openly, honestly, and directly
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or another related field is mandatory
Pay Range:
$50 - $60/hour W2 (Negotiable) The specific compensation for this position will be determined by various factors, including the scope, complexity, location of the role, labor market costs, the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, experience, and other employment conditions.
