Role Summary:

The Senior Global Security Manager is tasked with formulating, executing, and supervising extensive security protocols to protect the organization’s personnel, assets, and operations.

This position entails evaluating risks, crafting security strategies, coordinating security measures, and managing operational partnerships to ensure a secure environment for employees, visitors, and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to the Executive Leadership Team and other traveling personnel regarding security in various locations.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures to address identified risks and bolster overall security.
  • Oversee the installation and upkeep of physical security systems, including access control, surveillance, alarms, and perimeter security.
  • Collaborate with the HSE team to establish access control protocols for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Work with the HSE team to enhance crisis management plans and protocols for effective responses to emergencies.
  • Identify training needs and assist in developing security training programs to educate employees on best practices and emergency procedures.
  • Conduct or supervise investigations into security incidents and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage relationships with security vendors and service providers to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to corporate security, ensuring compliance across all operations.
  • Develop and manage the security department budget, including forecasting expenses and optimizing resource allocation.

Qualifications:

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications preferred.
  • At least ten years of experience in federal law enforcement, particularly with international or transnational issues.
  • Strong grasp of security principles, practices, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to assess risks and make informed decisions to enhance security measures.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

Working Conditions:
This role may require occasional evening, weekend, or on-call availability to address security incidents or emergencies. Travel may be necessary to engage with different company locations or attend relevant conferences and training sessions.
