About the Role

MUFG is seeking a highly skilled Sanctions Analyst to join our Global Sanctions Compliance Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of our latest sanctions policy requirements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance watchlists to identify outdated or missing entries and conduct annual reviews.
  • Implement new, updated, or modified entries to sanctions lists and ensure accurate uploads to the sanctions screening application.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to complete required documentation and quality control reviews.
  • Maintain records of sanctions screening list updates, QC confirmations, and list update/upload attestations.
  • Support general compliance activities and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and critical thinking skills
  • Interest in foreign policy and international relations
  • Extremely organized and self-motivated
  • Investigative background with excellent judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel

MUFG offers a competitive base pay range of $65k-$75k, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
