Samsung SDS America is in search of a dynamic and experienced individual to join the team as a Logistics Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will be tasked with identifying and pursuing fresh business opportunities within the Freight Forwarding and logistics sectors. Their primary focus will be championing the company's products and services for imports and exports to boost sales and meet ambitious targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Devise and execute sales strategies to reach organizational objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the sales team, offering guidance and support to achieve set targets.
  • Business Development: Spot new business openings, foster client relationships, and broaden the customer base.
  • Sales Performance: Monitor sales metrics, take corrective actions, and explore new opportunities in Freight Forwarding and related industries.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research, identify trends, and promote company products for sales growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build strong client relationships, understand their needs, and ensure satisfaction levels are high.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with various departments for effective communication and alignment.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate sales agreements and partnerships to drive business growth.
  • Budget Management: Develop and oversee sales budgets for efficient resource allocation.
  • Training and Development: Provide training opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate sales team performance and implement improvement plans.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on sales performance and market trends.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in International Freight Forwarding and/or logistics sales.
  • Thorough understanding of the transportation industry.
  • Proven track record in sales and account development.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital freight forwarder platforms.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Samsung SDS America is dedicated to supporting professional development and future career growth.

The base pay for this role ranges between $90,000 to $140,000/year, with an opportunity for an additional bonus of up to 40% annually based on performance metrics.
