Position Overview:


The In-Home Hospice Clinical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the successful operation of the agency's in-home hospice nursing care program.

This position takes on the responsibility of coordinating, developing, implementing, and evaluating the day-to-day care needs of the program.

This includes providing leadership, direct supervision, and support to the assigned clinical staff, fostering effective communication and teamwork among interdisciplinary team members, and overseeing the dispatch and coordination of clinical staff for patient care.

Additionally, the In-Home Hospice Clinical Supervisor plays a key role in problem-solving, conducts utilization reviews in collaboration with relevant team members, and provides supervision and evaluation for the assigned nursing staff.

Through these responsibilities, the In-Home Hospice Clinical Supervisor contributes to the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to patients and ensures the smooth functioning of the in-home hospice nursing program.


Minimum Qualifications:
1. Current unrestricted Washington State Registered Nurse's License2. Associate degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing3. Minimum four (4) years of post-education clinical experience4. Certification in Hospice & Palliative Nursing preferred or must be attained within three (3) years of employment.5. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.6. This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen which includes cannabis testing in Washington State.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in nursing2. Experience in program development and coordination3. Experience in home health, and hospice nursing.4. Two (2) years of leadership experience in a management or supervisory capacity.5. Bilingual in Spanish.

Compensation Starting Range:
$72,800/annual - $113,162.40/annual

Pay Range:
$72,800/annual - $153,524.80/annualNote regarding the listed pay range: At Tri-Cities Chaplaincy, we carefully establish salary ranges for our positions by taking various factors into account, including education, certifications, knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions. $0.67 per mile, for eligible positions

Vacation:
Accrual of hours each pay period based on hours worked

Wellness Days:
After the 90-day introductory period, eligible employees can convert up to two sick days into wellness days

Full-time employees receive 1 paid day off every January to volunteer in the community

Earned on an accrual basis, with a 90-day hold for new hires (usable after 90 days)

Responsible for knowledge and compliance with agency policies, procedures, and practices.4. Responsible for maintaining and protecting Patient and agency information in a confidential manner. Practice appropriate HIPAA confidentiality by accessing patient-related information on a "need to know" basis only.5. Reliable personal transportation, and current and valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.6. Satisfaction of state and agency requirements for Tuberculin screening. 7. Hepatitis B immunization series, proof of series, or signed declination.8. Proof of applicable Vaccination(s) on file or approved accommodation/declination as appropriate on file.9. Must pass a criminal background screening and pre-employment drug screening.10. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position (see attached physical requirements and environmental conditions).11. Complete agency and departmental orientation and training program(s).12.
