About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Team Manager to join our team at Senior Helpers of Richland. As a Care Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of caregivers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our clients, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Caregiver Performance: Oversee the performance of caregivers, including performance improvement, development, and implementation of caregiver training programs in collaboration with the supervisor.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance site checks of each caregiver to ensure care plans are being implemented correctly, policies and procedures are adhered to, and all job duties are performed in a manner that is satisfactory and meets the Senior Helpers brand expectations.
  • Morale Building: Create morale-building recognition programs for caregivers, such as Caregiver of the Month, acknowledgments of high-level performances, and training completions.
  • Log and Timesheet Review: Review daily logs and timesheets to ensure that each caregiver is following the care plan and that lost hours are identified.
  • Communication: Develop and disseminate caregiver newsletters and manage all new hires, terminations, and inactive employees, ensuring home care software is updated as changes occur.
  • Conflict Resolution: Manage all caregiver call-outs, late arrivals, early departures, and refusals of assignments, taking appropriate action based on company policies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the owner on coaching and training of internal staff members, ensuring staff communications are accurate and thorough.
  • Compliance: Adhere to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year experience managing employees, hiring, and/or onboarding experience preferred, preferably in a healthcare-related setting.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment. Experience in conflict management, ability to use critical thinking to proactively prevent and solve problems, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to visit clients' homes in the assigned territory.
