Welcome We are currently looking for a passionate Quality Engineer to join the team at Proterra Powered 1. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring product and process integrity through the implementation of systems that bolster manufacturing operations. Your main responsibilities will include leading problem-solving efforts, driving Non-Conformance Reports, tracking scrap targets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards. This position is based in Greer, SC, reporting to the Plant Quality Manager.
About the Role - As a Quality Engineer, You Will:
- Identify and address production issues
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Lead projects to improve quality
- Create and maintain quality documentation
- Ensure customer expectations are met
- Participate in cross-functional teams
- Support problem-solving and decision-making processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with knowledge of Root Cause analysis
- Basic knowledge of GD&T and relevant quality standards
- Experience with quality improvement tools and computer applications
Location: Greer, SC
Travel: 0 - 10%
