Job Overview

OBJECTIVE:

The Quality Assurance Specialist acts as a key intermediary between the assembly sector and the quality assurance team, addressing daily operational challenges. This role collaborates closely with the Quality Specialist Product to facilitate communication between suppliers and various internal departments.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures effective containment measures for all non-conforming materials identified by internal quality checks, including audits and tests.
  • Maintains timely processing of materials flagged for review, adhering to established protocols for supplier-related discrepancies.
  • Oversees the creation, approval, and resolution of quality assurance issues within the management system.
  • Generates complaint reports that detail relevant metrics and costs associated with quality issues.
  • Provides support for all deviation and trial activities on the production line.
  • Manages logistics for all relevant quality assurance tasks.
  • Assists in the quality assurance process for specific product quality management issues.
  • Ensures proper inventory management in designated areas.
  • Contributes to the operational structure of the working environment.
  • Conducts training sessions for production staff in alignment with company standards.
  • Monitors production data and supports integration processes for parts allocation.
  • Utilizes internal resources to assist with quality analysis, including laboratory and vehicle assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in engineering or a related discipline, or two years of relevant professional experience in quality processes.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior experience in manufacturing, particularly in areas related to quality assurance of parts.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • One year of experience with non-conformance management and material oversight.
  • Familiarity with plant operations and quality assurance processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills, including interpersonal and written abilities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in resource management.

  • Work is typically performed in various settings, including office and manufacturing environments, requiring physical activities such as sitting, standing, and lifting.
  • Must adhere to all safety protocols.
