Position Overview

The Plant Technical Manager will oversee a dedicated team responsible for engineering and enhancing plastic injection and welding technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of 13 engineers and skilled technicians.
  • Develop, integrate, and validate advanced plastic manufacturing technologies.
  • Implement and continuously improve assembly technologies, including vision systems and electronic error-proofing systems.
  • Utilize material movement technologies, including programmable logic controllers (PLC) from leading manufacturers.
  • Ensure the successful introduction of new products and processes while maintaining quality standards.
Quality Assurance

Monitor the quality of components during the initial phases of manufacturing systems and equipment development. This includes overseeing product launches and high-volume production of automotive components.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is required. Candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 60 months of experience in a managerial role within manufacturing engineering or operations.
  • Experience in leading teams focused on engineering and validating plastic injection, blow molding, or welding technologies.
  • Proficiency in using PLC-based machines and related technologies.

This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency and quality of production processes in the automotive sector.
