About the Job:

A exciting opportunity is available to work as a Vote Center Coordinator in the Registrar of Voters Department at the County of Marin. The position involves setting up, opening, and closing the vote center, leading the staff, performing administrative tasks, and serving as a resource to staff and the public. Vote Center Coordinators play a crucial role in ensuring smooth elections and maintaining trust and confidence in the election process.



Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, open, and close the vote center daily.
- Lead staff at the vote center.
- Perform administrative, clerical, and document processing functions.
- Serve as a resource to staff and the public.
- Transport election materials to the Civic Center each night.
- Other related duties as needed.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be a registered voter in the State of California, have customer service skills, leadership experience, and proficiency in using computers and specialized software programs. Bilingual candidates in English and Spanish, Chinese, or Vietnamese are highly preferred. The candidate should be willing to work flexible hours and attend training sessions as required.
