Sales Director - Tax Credits & Incentives

Location :
Houston, TX or Sacramento, CA


I am a search firm representing a tax incentive company seeking a Sales Director for a one of a kind role.

This role will work along side the Business Development team to ensure sales goals are achieved.

The company sells consulting services for tax credits and incentives including R&D, 179D, WOTC and more.
Ideally this person has finance or an incentives background. If not, they need to understand how to sell consulting services.

Responsibilities/

Role:

Responsible for achieving revenue goals and day to day sales
Develop trainings and sales campaigns for sale team
Create reports, monitor sales activity and work with Business Development Executives to continuously develop and improve their skillset
Partner with department leaders to develop and align sales strategies and campaigns.
Meet sales goals and handle performance discussions with team members
Maintain up to date knowledge and continued education on companies various service
Spearhead trainings for sales team
Develop pitches for company roll out and adjust and pivot as necessary
Track activity in Salesforce
Maintain reporting

Typically will work 40 hours per week – no crazy hours

Job Requirements:
Must have worked in tax credits and incentives
8-10 years' experience in a sales role – opening, probing, supporting, and closing deals.
5 years' experience in a sales management role.
