Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in engineering field preferred but not required.

3+ years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Understanding of ISO 9100, ISO 45001 and TS16949 requirements.

Problem solving skills such as RCA, 5-Why, A3, 8D, etc.

Knowledge of water-based chemistry/adhesives preferred.

Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficient in use of SAP.

Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to lead and coordinate efforts between various functional groups to address customer requirements and requests, and to complete projects related to the achievement of established quality improvement objectives.

Responsibilities:

Lead problem solving activities to troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints in addition to internal product/process failures.

Determines impacted products/specifications during Management of Change (MOC) process; identify sales and customers of impacted products.

Manage Quality documents in HIMDOC database (Lab procedures, calibration records, etc.)

Guides, directs, and determines root cause and corrective actions for continuous improvement, including regular reporting of defect analysis and proposed solutions for preventative action.

Communication with Sales Team and/or Supply Chain in resolution of customer issues/problems.

Lead Customer audits, as they are assigned. Lead/support assigned quality systems and designated customer requests audit, Process Control Documents (PCDs), complaints etc.

Lead/Support internal audits, both at this site and other Client sites

Work with other departments (ENG, PD, Operations, etc.) to implement quality improvement projects.

Responsible for the generating reports as required (CCMS, ECSL, blocked stock, scrap, NCM, etc.).

Support the set-up and maintenance of quality master data.

Conduct daily QC testing of intermediates and finished goods.

Support process scale up of PD materials and communicates with PD to troubleshoot current as well as future products.

Organizes Non-Conforming Material Process (acts as coordinator, quality representative, and drives timely decisions).

Use process and data driven analysis to assist with focused projects to improve quality and customer satisfaction.

Manages both Supplier Complaint Management System (SCMS) and Customer Complaint Management System (CCMS).

Improve First Time Right (FTR) rate for intermediate and finished good batches.

Run cost savings initiatives to decrease plant costs/spending.
