Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our quality program, driving the development and implementation of quality workflows, continuous improvement initiatives, and establishing a quality control and quality engineering organization. As the Director of Quality, you will play a critical role in building and growing our quality program to support our CO2 electrolyzer development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Quality Program
    • Institute a quality prevention workflow that includes design failure modes and effects analysis (DFMEA).
    • Establish a control system and the controlling documentation that include IQC methods, management of change (MOC), and engineer change order (ECO).
    • Create and implement a quality detection process that includes non-conforming reporting (NCR), root cause analysis (RCA), statistical process control (SPC), material review board (MRB), and corrective and preventive action (CAPA).
  • Lead Quality Team
    • Manage and build a functional team of quality assurance and control technicians, supervisor, and engineers.
  • Drive Operational Efficiency
    • Develop and track performance metrics, such as monitoring quality of process, inputs, and outputs to improve product yield, throughput, cost, and manufacturability.
  • Advocate Quality Measures
    • Be the voice of quality at Twelve by advocating the integration of quality measures at all steps of the development process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Demonstrate experience in developing, implementing, and managing quality management systems (QMS), and sustaining quality operations.
  • Familiarity with high-throughput production processes from bench to pilot-scale, especially those that focus on manufacturing electrochemical, electronic, or related devices in a clean-room environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, including a non-exempt workforce.
  • Excited to work as part of a highly collaborative, dynamic, and diverse team, especially through technical uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • Ability to influence and align quality expectations across the organization.
  • Exceptional data analysis using a scripting language with a focus on statistics.
  • Prioritize safety throughout your workflow.
