Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of employees performing supplier quality activities to ensure compliance with purchase contract requirements and regulatory agency regulations.
  • Develop and execute business plans, policies, and procedures to improve supplier performance and quality.
  • Provide education and coaching on quality systems and best practices.
  • Acquire and manage resources to lead process improvements and drive business results.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports.
  • Manage, develop, and motivate employees to achieve high performance and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
  • More than 5 years of experience in quality, supplier quality, or supplier management.
  • More than 5 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role.
  • More than 3 years of experience working in the aerospace industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher.
  • Experience working as a quality engineer or supplier quality engineer.
  • More than 1 year of experience interfacing directly with suppliers.
  • 1+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100)).

Additional Information

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • This position is not contingent upon program award.
  • This is not a safety-sensitive position.
