Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies
  • Assist with monthend closing activities
  • Communicate with customers regarding payment inquiries or issues
  • Collaborate with sales departments to resolve customer billing concerns
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all transactions

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Prior experience as an accounts receivables clerk or in a similar role preferred, but not required. This is a trainable position, no experience is necessary to begin
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • QuickBooks Online experience is preferred
  • Merchant Portal experience is preferred
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and follow direction
