ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Café serves as the store's epicenter for nourishing, ready-to-eat, drinks and meals. The team serves chef-created, farm-to-table food by the pound for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Each member will build expertise in espresso, tea, smoothies, and the creation of seasonal beverages. The role is fast-paced and requires the ability to create a consistent and friendly experience for our customers while maintaining a highly organized space in our open kitchen.
ABOUT THE TEAM:
Our Café Team serves seasonal deli-style food by the pound, rotisserie classics, prepared foods and grab n' go dishes made by our kitchen team using the same farm direct ingredients you can shop in the store. The Café Team also serves sustainably sourced coffee, teas, house-made shrubs, tonics and smoothies. Each member of the Cafe Team is an active participant working toward our mission of exploring generative food systems

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Experience in a fast-paced food service environment is preferred.Barista experience is a plus.Passion for warm hospitality and quality customer service.Interest in seasonal produce and thoughtfully sourced products.Proficient point of sale experience.Proficient at cash reconciliation.Acute attention to detail when it comes to product quality, presentation and food safety.Strong verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with management, co-workers and customers that contribute to a productive and joyous team environment.Exemplifies company guidelines/protocols, workplace safety and health department standards.Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, as needed.Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.Possess full body mobility (bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching)JOB TYPE + COMPENSATION RANGE
