We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Associate to join our team at American Golf. As a Snack Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Cook and Serve Food and Drinks: Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items to our members and guests, ensuring that all orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
- Food Preparation and Presentation: Season and prepare food items according to customer specifications and preset recipes, ensuring that all dishes are presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the snack bar, adhering to all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answering food preparation questions, recording member/guest selections, and upselling where possible.
- Point-of-Sale Operations: Process sales through the Point-of-Sale system, maintaining accurate records and balancing the register at the end of each shift.
- Inventory Management: Maintain attractive food displays, clean tables, counters, dishes, chairs, floors, and equipment, ensuring sufficient levels of inventory in storage rooms and refrigerators.
- Food Service Experience: Previous cooking experience is highly recommended.
- Food Handlers Card: Must possess a valid Food Handlers Card.
- Cash Handling: Experience handling cash and credit card transactions is essential.
- Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, perform multiple tasks, and prioritize efficiently.
- Knowledge of Food Service Regulations: Must have knowledge of applicable liquor laws, procedures, and policies, as well as the ability to determine signs of intoxication.
The Snack Bar Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods of time, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
