This includes providing manufacturing support to fabricators and the installation/operations team, generating and reviewing engineering drawings and technical reports, and developing and approving structural substantiation reports using empirical stress analysis, FEA, CFD, etc., as necessary to support and validate the design.
The successful candidate will also develop and present design reviews with both internal and external customers, provide oversight and content to design/drafting operators, read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
Additionally, they will research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications, specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications, research, design, and evaluate mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles, investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using drafting tools or computer-assisted design/drafting equipment and software.

Work EnvironmentOffice environment alongside 2 mechanical engineers and one mechanical designer.Must be flexible with hours as typical schedule is 8-5 with potential overtime and late hours due to business demands and deadlines.
The team consists of 15 current employees and the role involves significant interaction across all disciplines of engineering. Reports directly to the Engineering Manager.The dress code is casual, and the company culture emphasizes a work family with strong values on communication and teamwork.
