Job Summary:

As a key member of our team at Crane Aerospace & Electronics, you will be responsible for building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying production electronic components and products. This role requires a strong understanding of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, and electronic and electrical testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and work in accordance with work orders, drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Setup, adjust, and operate standard and special purpose test equipment to test and validate electronic components and products.
  • Perform functional, calibration, qualification, and acceptance tests to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test and align hybrid circuitry to ensure seamless integration.
  • Document and analyze test data, make computations, and prepare concise and accurate reports of test results.
  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical issues and improve product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Interface with production technicians, assemblers, buyers, and other stakeholders to exchange information and provide technical assistance.
  • Train and mentor employees to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Provide customer support and interface with customers to identify needs and provide information on products.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in electronics or a related field.
  • Two-year degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, and electronic and electrical testing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
