Job Overview:
Reporting to the Test Group Supervisor, the Electronics Engineering Technician will be tasked with assembling, evaluating, diagnosing, repairing, and modifying production electronic components and systems. This includes a variety of devices such as computer systems, instrumentation, digital and analog electronic products, and electro-mechanical systems, while applying fundamental principles of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, and physics.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and execute work orders, schematics, and engineering specifications accurately. Set up, calibrate, and operate specialized test equipment, including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and automatic test equipment, to simulate operational conditions. Conduct functional, calibration, and acceptance testing under various environmental conditions, including temperature and humidity variations. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of electronic equipment and systems. Align and test hybrid circuitry for optimal performance. Update and modify testing procedures and documentation as necessary. Analyze and document test results, preparing detailed reports and graphical representations of data. Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues related to component interference and production feasibility. Program test equipment and utilize necessary software to fulfill job responsibilities. Contribute to the establishment of design guidelines for engineering and manufacturing processes. Work closely with production teams and engineers to facilitate effective communication and technical support. Provide customer support and address inquiries regarding product performance and issues. Additional responsibilities as assigned.Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required. An associate degree in electronics or equivalent experience is necessary. Strong understanding of engineering electronics, science, and technology applications. Familiarity with circuit boards, processors, and electronic equipment, including software applications. Eligibility Requirement: Access to Controlled Data or Information is required; only US persons will be considered due to compliance with ITAR regulations.Benefits:
